The biggest and best vintage clothes fairs in London

April 20, 2010

Vintage clothes fairs are a great and affordable way for people to buy stylish, retro and quality items. They are fast becoming a shopping phenomenon for all sexes and ages. The items stocked at each fair are unique and hand picked by the stalls and sellers that attend. So there is usually a little something for everyone no matter what your preference or style.

Fairs stock vintage clothing ranging through all the eras from the 1800’s through to the 1980’s. This includes accessories like hats, gloves, handbags, shoes and textiles. There are even self-designed “vintage inspired” items, a nice option for those who would prefer to buy new clothes. There are even retro home wares like pub paraphernalia, kitchenware and even classic toys and games for children.

Vintage Clothes

All in all they can provide items that ooze that classic vintage look. They can make a great addition to any outfit. Or even be a source of that great party piece everyone will be talking about. What’s more the mood is always festive and the fairs attract fascinating and stylish crowds and there are usually vintage barbers offering their expertise, making sure anyone can get that classic 50’s film star look or even an old school wet shave for men.

Now that I’ve got you interested here are some the dates and venues around the UK. Most vintage clothes fairs have an entrance fee, but with the savings you can make it always seems worth it.
